HOUSING PROGRAM

WELCOME TO

Impact Life’s Housing Program

Where we provide a supportive and empowering environment for individuals on their journey to recovery. Our housing program offers a range of services and amenities designed to facilitate long-term sobriety, personal growth, and independence. Regardless of the Housing Program selected, our residents have access to a Wellness Educator and a Recovery Educator who incorporate step work and mindfulness to solidify the foundation of their recovery.  We support family reunification and prepare residents for healthy transitions using a three-tiered phase system of readiness.

Safe and Supportive Environment

Our housing facilities provide a safe and substance-free environment where residents can focus on their recovery journey without distractions.

Structured Living

We offer structured living arrangements to help residents maintain stability and accountability throughout their recovery process.

NARR Standards

All Impact Life operates recovery residences that are NARR Level 3 and, or, NARR Level 1, and meet all applicable standards. Our program provides safe, supportive, and recovery-focused living environments across the state of Delaware.
NARR LEVEL 3:
Supervised Recovery Housing
Our Level 3 homes offer a structured and supportive environment for individuals who benefit from increased accountability and daily support. These homes include onsite staff, peer support, and case management to help residents stabilize, build routine, and strengthen their recovery foundation. Residents in Level 3 housing are typically engaged in therapeutic services, workforce development, or other recovery-oriented services. This level of care is ideal for individuals transitioning from residential treatment or those who need additional structure to maintain stability.
NARR LEVEL 1:
Peer-Supported Recovery Housing (Self-Pay)
Our Level 1 homes are designed for individuals who are ready for more independent living while remaining connected to a recovery community. These self-pay homes are peer-supported and emphasize personal responsibility, accountability, and continued growth. Residents are expected to actively engage in their recovery through employment, education, outpatient services, or other meaningful pathways. While there are no onsite clinical services, individuals have access to Impact Life’s full continuum of care, allowing them to stay connected to support while building independence.

Pregnant and Parenting Women Program

At Impact Life, we understand the unique challenges faced by mothers on their journey to recovery. That’s why we’re proud to offer Mommy and Me Programs designed to support mothers in achieving sobriety while nurturing their bond with their children.

Our Mommy and Me Programs provide a safe and supportive environment where mothers can focus on their recovery alongside their children. Through a combination of therapeutic interventions, parenting support, and parenting support services, we aim to empower mothers to build healthier lives for themselves and their families. Children in our program have access to a Children’s Care Coordinator so their unique needs are met as well.

Specialized programming for this population is effective because it recognizes the interconnectedness of a mother’s recovery journey with her role as a parent. By addressing the specific needs and challenges faced by mothers, such as childcare responsibilities, parenting skills development, and healing from trauma, these programs offer a holistic approach to recovery that supports the well-being of both mother and child.

Moreover, Mommy and Me Programs create a sense of community and camaraderie among participants, fostering peer support and encouragement. This sense of belonging can be invaluable for mothers who may feel isolated or stigmatized due to their substance use disorder.

In addition our in-house strengths-building parenting program meets the DFS requirements for parenting skills classes.

Ultimately, specialized programming for mothers at Impact Life works because it acknowledges and honors the unique strengths and needs of this population. By providing comprehensive support that addresses the complexities of motherhood and recovery, we empower mothers to reclaim their lives and build a brighter future for themselves and their children.
